Star Play
Costume design for a devised theatre-for-young-audiences show, rooted in the balance of ensemble unity and highlighting actors’ personal styles and tied together with polka dots. Garments sourced from actors/company and thrift stores, then modified to include a palette of three unifying fabrics.
“A wondrous, galaxy-sized adventure for all ages, STAR PLAY is a storybook romp through the night sky that follows Pleione, the seventh brightest Pleiades sister, as she charts a course through the Milky Way to save the red giant Betelgeuse from going supernova. STAR PLAY will be visible to stargazers and theatre lovers from parks all over Seattle starting July 23. More information available here.”
