Donovan Olsen
A director and socially-engaged-theatre artist focused on creating new and devised work centering queer joy through values-based artistic processes.
Originally from Austin, Texas, Donovan graduated from Whitman College in 2019 with a degree in theatre. Over their four years in Walla Walla, Donovan produced several works with Harper Joy Theatre, the Hayloft Players, and the Walla Walla Immigrant Rights Coalition’s Art and Social Practice committee. They work at the Seattle Repertory Theatre, formerly in the Public Works department, now as Senior Administrative Coordinator, and they are a proud company member with Dacha Theatre.
